Groups Welcome

We welcome Youth Groups, Church Groups, or any groups, to join us at the March for Life. Due to the already discounted price for the trip, we cannot offer any group discounts.

Our costs to send each person to the March for Life are over $90. With significant fundraising and donations, we are able to offer the trip at $45 per person.

Due to generous donors, we can provide financial assistance, if needed, on an individual basis. Please contact us if you are in need.

To make a reservation

We have two buses going to the March for Life. Both buses fill up early. We will hold a wait-list once that happens, and notify you if seats become available.

We are also in contact with other groups in the area who are also going, and, if we are full, we will refer you to those we know still have seats available.

For safety and planning purposes, we require that you submit the names of all participants riding on our buses prior to the trip. We would like this information when making your reservation, though we know that is not always possible. Please provide a list of names with your reservation. If you don't know at the time of reservation, please indicate the number of seats needed. But you must provide the names prior to departure.

Payment in advance is required. Please pay within 15 days of making your reservation. Unpaid reservations are subject to cancellation.

To make a reservation, please supply the following information:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number(s) (cell number preferred, so we can contact you during the trip, if needed)
• Your mailing address
• Number of seats needed
• Names of each person

Once we have your reservation, we will contact you to let you know if we have seats available. Once your seats are confirmed, please submit payment using one of the payment options at Payment Info. If seats are not available, you will be placed on the wait list.

Wait List
The wait list will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. If someone cancels their reservation, we will notify the next person on the wait list.

Payment options

Please do not send payment until your reservation has been confirmed. We usually fill our buses and have a wait list, so please verify you have a confirmed seat on the bus prior to sending payment

2. Venmo

   Payments can be accepted using Venmo to my account using cell number 585-503-3256. Since Venmo charges us a fee ($2.50 - non-refundable) for this service, we must pass this expense on to you. The cost is $47.50 per person to use this method of payment.

   

3. PayPal

   We can accept electronic payments through PayPal. Since PayPal charges us a fee ($2.50 - non-refundable) for this service, we must pass this expense on to you. The cost is $47.50 per person to use this method of payment.

Refunds
Refunds will be provided if you cancel your reservation up to seven days prior to the trip. Last-minute cancellations (within 7 days of departure) will be refunded if there is someone on the wait list that can take your seat. We are a not-for-profit group and each seat on the bus costs us over $90. Last-minute cancellations that cannot be filled will not be refunded.

Fundraising events:

Craft sales

The Prayer Shawl Ministry at The Church of the Holy Spirit, along with other crafty individuals, create hand-crafted items, including knitted baby items, and sell these items at various craft sales throughout the year. This is, by far, our largest fund-raising activity. We thank the efforts of all involved to support the efforts of the Committee for Life.

Bottle and Can drive

We have partnered with Can Kings to raise money for the Committee for Life. Can Kings gives us six cents per bottle/can donated.
There are several ways to help with our on-going bottle and can drive efforts:

1. Bring your bottles and cans to either Can Kings Redemption Center and tell them they are for March for Life. They will credit our account and give us the money automatically
2. Drop your bottles and cans off in the bins behind Holy Spirit Church. We will take them to Can Kings.
3. Take your bottles and cans to Wegmans or Hegedorns and save the receipt. Mail the receipts to Committee for Life, c/o Gerry Sander, 1477 Chigwell Ln N, Webster, NY 14580. Gerry will redeem the deposit.
4. If you can’t get out, call Gerry at (585) 503-3256, or email webstercommitteeforlife@gmail.com and Gerry will pick them up and take them to Can Kings.

Our team applies for grants from various ornanizations. We appreciate the support provided by the grants we receive from:

Direct donations

We receive many private donations from individual sponsors. Many people, if they cannot attend the March for Life themselves, will pay to sponsor another person's trip expenses.

Every year there are many people who would like to attend but who cannot afford the trip expenses. Your donation can help offset these expenses and provide the opportunity for others to participate in this important cause.
